Frequently Asked Questions
About our Wilderness Action Center

I tried to log in to my personal profile, but the system didn't recognize my password (or email address).  What's going on?
Please make sure that you have your cookies turned on and your security settings are set to medium or low.

I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click on the "need/forgot password" link that will email you a new password. Once you have it, you can log into your Personal Profile page and change your password to one you can more easily remember.

The system doesn't recognize my email address, but I've taken action before. What's going on?
Answer: Please make sure that you have your cookies turned on and your security settings are set to medium or low.

Why do I have to use a prefix to my name?
The only time a prefix is required is when you participate in an advocacy campaign. The reason is Congressional webforms require this field when you take action.

My address changed. How do I update my information?
You can easily change your address by accessing your Personal Profile I in the left hand sidebar. Once you're in the Profile, click on Subscription Management Page to edit your profile.

Do I have to enter my name and address every time I take action?
You should only have to enter your name and address once. After that, our database will remember you by your email address.

What's so great about the Personal Profile, anyway? Why would I want to log in there?
Your personal profile page allows you to make edits to your existing contact information, view past actions you've taken and new actions which you might want to participate in. The profile page also includes information about your elected representatives.
